AYM Centre to come up in Nepal

AYM (Association for Yoga & Meditation) Yoga School of Rishikesh, India is going to open an AYM Center in Nepal in a year’s time. AYM is affiliated by IYF (International Yoga Federation) and is a member of IYA (International Yoga Alliance). AYM Center in Nepal will offer Yoga courses, YTTC (Yoga Teacher Training Courses), ayurvedic massage and ayurvedic massage courses to people of Nepal as well as to national and international tourists. The above mentioned YTTCs will be of 200 hours, 300 hour and 500 hours respectively and will be taught by well experienced teachers who are masters in different styles of yoga such as Hatha/Hatho, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Iyengar. While the ayurvedic massage courses will range from 1 week to 15 days.

Yoga for Beginners in Nepal

Many institutions and ashrams offer yoga and meditation in Nepal. AYM Yoga School to come up in Nepal, will offer well-defined course of yoga and meditation to beginners. The basic yoga course for beginners includes asana, Hatha/Hatho yoga and Vinyasa. Depending on the requirement and physical ability of students, beginners’ yoga courses can range from 3 to 5 weeks, and will be of 200 to 300 hours. These yoga courses will also include meditation, yogic chants and mantras. After completing the beginners’ yoga course and YTTC (Yoga Teacher Training Course) at AYM Centre Nepal, anyone will be able to practice yoga in their homes to relax, distress and get relief from different kind of pains and will also be able to teach yoga to others after being certified by AYM Centre Nepal.

Yoga Teacher Training in Nepal Course Schedule

Yoga teacher training focuses on a lot of practice of different component of yoga systematically, but also on theoretical principles of yoga. So we have divided the whole syllabus in two parts which include practice and theoretical yoga lectures.

Refund Rules

Every participant is advised to carefully consider the time and resources required for the course before forwarding the application for the teacher- training course at AYM Yoga School. The deposit submitted is not refundable. However, in case of emergencies and other unavoidable circumstances, the AYM Yoga School at its discretion permits students to go for any other scheduled course within the period of one year. We therefore recommend that all applicants carefully examine their upcoming obligations so that they may be able to devote their full attention to the teacher-training program

Evaluation & Certification

To get a Diploma at the 300-hour yoga instructor course, a student needs to attend 4 weeks duration course which includes eight yoga modules. If a student is has already completed any of the modules, we will examine the students proficiency and a waver is given in that module. Assessments will be based on written assignments as well as practical evaluations and student conduct will be a part of the assessment criteria.
